I shall promote activity in this great region of ours. Now, how I will do this is simple; I shall first see what the people want to do in this -truly great- region, although that could be done before I even take office. After that, I shall enact the people's will! Or preferably get others to do it, because all the activity in the world wouldn't be useful if it's all me. And then, people shall flock to our great region of activity! Other than activity, I plan to establish ourselves amongst NationStates as being a great community that is respectable, and I want us to be recognized for the great region that we are. Now, I'll do that by lots of propaganda... And I plan to get the Gazette active, hopefully getting us noticed by the community for it, or at least read, and I uh... I'll make a plan for how I'll get us some recognition. TL;DR: I'll ask the people what they want and I'll do it. Any questions for your future Eternal Dictator? As I posted in Discord: "The LLA is under the Sovereign's jurisdiction, through the nomination of the cabinet which includes the Grand Commandant (head of the LLA) and other officials, not to mention a sovereign can direct foreign policy - though this is through the Minister Herald." In simple terms, the Sovereign runs the military in the many of the same respects as a President, in regards to having authority over the military, through choice of cabinet and officials, even though it is obviously the Grand Commandant and the LLA itself that implements government policy and decides who to defend, etc. Technically the Sovereign can declare war without Grand Assembly approval, if a declaration of war is presented against Lazarus, otherwise it must go through a simple majority vote of the Grand Assembly, which differentiates the Sovereign from the US President for example: Quote: (9) Lazarus shall enter a state of war with a foreign region or organization following a simply majority vote in the Grand Assembly or a declaration of war being received by the Sovereign.
