What authority? Four people get to pick their own governments, and we just have to pick between the four? Edited by Adytus, Sep 6 2016, 06:18 AM.

The open-endedness of this is quite concerning for my taste. The power of these "first beings" could be ridiculous. |

@Adytus I'm not sure about authority. I suppose it is an open-ended question. I think we could amend the Act to include 'Nomads', for people who don't want to join any of the four realms. Similarly, I don't think the four people are going to be dictators, if anything, benevolent dictators If anything, I suspect they will implement democracies in their realms. @Frank Indeed ... I'm looking forward to being subjected |

I've been thinking about this a lot, and I'm willing to actually revisit our form of governance to make this work. I'm really enthusiastic about this idea, and I think we can make it work, honor some of the older members of the region, and make it really fun for everyone. When we first fixed the region after the coup, we had a really vibrant culture and ideas on how we would run things going forward, but a lot of that energy, over time, has worn out. I think it's time to do something new and fun, something that we haven't really tried before. Let's do it. |

I think there are several ways to go about that. One way is to make it more like a guild or province system where it doesn't actually imply more political power to be a head of it, and it is more a cultural thing. |

I agree. I think they could also have a sort of political party aspect, but it would be mostly cultural, and we could have cool rivalries and alliances between them, etc. It'd be a really cool RP type thing and would give us a lot of opportunities for the same energy we saw in the PRL. |

What purpose do these provinces have for existing? It seems to me that when these things are created for the sole purpose of raising activity they never live up to their promise...I don't pretend to know the answer, but is there some way we can give the provinces some purpose? Some reason that people will want to join and participate in them? |

Were the districts in the PRL purposeless too? I'm not saying it's the same thing, but it's a new thing that we haven't tried yet, and I think it will allow a lot of room for fun activities and banter. |
