AN ANNOUNCEMENT BY PRINCESS ANNA OF UNITED MORELAND Following my sisters announcement of her impending abdication I am forced to accept the crown of United Moreland. In accordance with our nations traditions my coronation must be witnessed and open to emissaries from any nation, therefore I humbly invite you to Lancaster in order to witness the event. I would also like to announce the ceremony will be followed by my sister, the outgoing Queen, being presented with the title of Archduchess, this is in recognition of her great works in her time as Queen. Her reign may have only been ten short years but in that time she has established our nation as one willing to help bring stability to the world. She helped defuse the situation in Japao as well as creating the Cultural Exchange Treaty Organisation and authored much of the Universal Rights Treaty. She also extended the borders of United Moreland to include Port Moreland, the first ever expansion of national territory. She leaves a large legacy I hope I am worthy of. Those wishing to attend will of course be offered all comforts available in our royal palace and should they wish to meet with myself at anytime the following day I would be happy to accommodate. I look forward to meeting you in person soon. Princess Anna |

Stoval, Disciple of the Canton Valley Baptist Church RE: Your imminent coronation and your invitation Dear Madame, I write to you first of all to express my sincere apologies that Elder Andrew will not be able to attend your coronation in person. As I am sure you very well understand, running a nation and a church seems to be a very busy duty. He asks me to relay his deepest condolences to you and his desire to make your acquaintance at a later date. However, it is with great pleasure and anticipation that I inform you that I have been chosen to represent the Valley at your coronation. As a Disciple of the Church, I am Elder Andrew's close personal assistant, and his chosen successor. I look forward to meeting you and celebrating your coronation, and the achievements of your sister. I would be most gracious if you would save at least once dance for me; I am told that you are even more radiant in person that in photographs. I am most excited and most ready to make the journey to Lancaster and shall arrive as soon as travel permits. Hosanna in perpetuum, Brother H.D. Stoval |

Captain Fairbrother and Sergeant Fisher thought this was a day neither of them would see, at least not in uniform, a second coronation. When Alison had been crowned Fairbrother was just out of basic training and had been one of the officers lining the route, Fisher meanwhile had been a Corporal about to ascend to a third stripe in the nations beloved Royal Lancastrian regiment. Now they both stood in the Palace's forecourt proudly dressed in their Red Jackets with brightly polished gold buttons, the bearskin hats were already making their heads warm but not a single man of the 200 on parade flinched. The first part of the day was one that was unscripted and the Cullen's had determined it must take place prior to any foreign delegation arriving. They'd wanted it to be low key but there was no way this was going to be permitted to happen. A loud cheer went up from the crowd as Alison Cullen stepped out onto the top steps of the Palace accompanied by her girlfriend Josline Morrison who looked more nervous. This would be the last time Alison departed the Palace as Queen and as such the Lancastrian's turned to form a corridor for the horse drawn carriage to walk down. As the horse team passed the men presented their immaculately polished rifles in respect as officers snapped glittering swords to a salute. As the carriage passed Captain Fairbrother he yelled, "Three Cheers For Her Majesty Queen Alison....hip hip" "Huzzah!" the men bellowed, the two further calls echoed behind Alison as the gates opened and crowds of the public greeted her to spontaneous applause. She waved back trying hard not to let the emotion of the moment catch her out, she felt Joseline's hand clinch hers. "You could always turn back" the younger woman said reassuringly as the carriage became flanked by mounted officers from the Royal Lancastrian's. "Never" Alison smiled determined she was doing what was right for both herself and United Moreland, she leaned over and kissed Joseline which again brought a loud cheer from the Morelanders lining the route. The journey was a short one to the Temple of Mitras, there Alison exited the carriage and made her way alone up the steps, similar to how her sister would in a few hours time. At the top of the steps High Priestess Carmella waited, she knelt before the Queen who bowed in return. The crowd watched unsure what was being said but witnessed the two women prayer together before the Queen symbolically removed her crown and handed it to Carmella who in return handed it to a small boy holding a red cushion who disappeared inside the Temple. Alison, no longer a Queen, knelt before the High Priestess who removed her rich fur cloak, took away the royal septre and orb before helping Alison to her feet. With no more words Alison turned and descended the stairs. It was a quarter of a mile back to the Palace and despite the Queen's Carriage waiting she determined to walk, she grasped Joseline's hand ignored the footman and began walking back to the Palace, no longer Queen Alison Cullen, just simply Alison. Meanwhile her brother Prince Robert and his new wife Orlaith, now known as Princess Orlaith, stood waiting for the foreign dignitaries to arrive. Robert had, as usual, refused to wear the many General uniforms he was permitted to wear as a Prince and instead opted for his Flt.Lt uniform from the Air Force, Orliath stood next to him in a tartan dress, a nod to her homeland of Braide in the Teutonic Union, she wore however a pair of Air Force Wings clasping her cloak around her neck, a custom adopted by many Air Force wives in United Moreland, as another nod to her new homeland she wore the United Moreland bull embossed on her dresses silver buttons. Robert looked at his watch, "It's done then." he said more to himself than anyone. "So it's official now" Orlaith said meaning that United Moreland no longer had a Queen. "Yeah, we lost the best Queen we've ever had" Robert said sadly, he knew his sister had done so much in such a short time and that she had potentially many good years ahead of her but he couldn't begrudge her what she was doing. "Til now." Orlaith smiled, "Anna's smart. She'll be a great Queen, as would any of you Cullens......except you of course" she teased. "Although you may look good in a dress." Robert laughed at her remarks as they waited for the first aircraft to arrive. |

The Imperial Plane began to descend. Onboard Empress Madeline was receiving final adjustments to her outfit, she was wearing a blue short length dress with a blue jacket and a headpiece. She then sat down in her seat as the plane landed. Once it had begun taxiing her fashion consultant came over and straightened it out and double checked over her outfit, "Thank You" she whispered before heading to the front of the plane. Once at the front of the plane the door was opened and the Empress Consort climbed out onto the steps and then walked down them. She immediately saw Prince Robert and Princess Orliath and walked over to greet them, "Hello your majesties, I'm Empress Madeline of Veniasufia and I'm honoured to be here for your sisters coronation". She bowed slightly then continued, "I'm sorry if I can't do all the formalities correctly since I'm struggling at the moment due to being pregnant" she laughed slightly uncomfortably. |

![]() *Italia had during the entire month passed from nations to nations in order to consolidate ties with many nations, she was a bit exhausted, but knew that it was necessary to ensure the total recognition of the Merchant Federation. With one of the aircraft of the fleet allowing to carry all the delegates and the desk of the Vice Protector for affairs while being on foreign soil. She landed in the private airport of Sudi Mana, and waited a couple of hours for her love to join her, Emanuele Massin, a well known Member of the Order of Commerce. The Order of Commerce ordered Massin to attend with the Vice Protector to the ceremony of coronation in United Moreland, estimating it important to send such Honourable Member of the Order of Commerce to reinforce ties with United Moreland, and was in no reason motivated by the fact that Emanuele and Italia were in love each other… Which was keep as a secret. Such thing would put a huge cataclysm in MF political life, as she is the Vice Protector, and he is the most trusted Member of the Order of Commerce… She had planned another plane for the trip, more private one with only 1 pilots and her body guard in order to keep their relation secret, even if it was an official visit for both, their talk wouldn’t be heard.* *Emanuele arrived on the tarmac, he shake hands with the Vice Protector, and once into the aircraft, talk normally like if nothing happened. The plane took off, and there was a few hours before joining United Moreland.*
*She said that last sentence with a bit authority and a smile on her face… She had a lot of characters and generally crush everyone during negotiations, fortunately for Emanuele both were used to joke about their life but also tried to not talk too much about politics, even if both were in the same political movement, they estimated it wouldn’t be fair.* *The plane after some hours of talks, finally landed, now the pleasant moments added, time to diplomacy and politics. The plane approached a red carpet, with a squad of guards ready to make the show the honours from the MF Embassy disposed by the Consul, and a car escort waiting for them. The bodyguard opened the door, letting Italia passing first our of the plane, followed 2 meters after by Emanuele.* Long live the Merchant Federation, May God be with you, - Protector of the Merchant Federation's Office Edited by Nova, Aug 31 2016, 03:09 PM.

The Ascari Viceriene approached the Morelander Prince and Princess, and the other foreign dignitaries. She wore typical Ascari fashion of her high station; an ornate headpiece with a large golden phoenixes, red and dark green silk robes with a crane embroidered on the front. Her husband and consort, Herendil, wore silk robes of dark hues. To the right and a few steps behind of the Viceriene was her trusted servant and ómari, Ehtelë, holding her hand to her left was her handsome and beloved Noble Consort who’s own ómari and instructor in the ways of Arda Tuluva and Quneya, Encaitar, stood behind him just in front of two bearers hoisting ornate standards; the Viceriene’s personal square sigil with two golden phoenix ornaments dangling on the bottom two corners and the diamond standard of Ascarenor with two jade dragons dangling from the sides. It was Ehtelë who stepped forward, bowed low at the waist before speaking, “May I present Her Most Serene Highness, Sémarë Tar-Ancalimiel of the Most Noble and Illustrious House of Sareär, Viceriene and Grand Archon of Ascarenor, Princess of Arda Tuluva, Grand Duchess of Grand Duchess of Ára Sovallë and Lisserinan and His Grace, Herendil, Noble Consort and Grand Prince of Ascarenor.” As her name was called Sémarë Sareär made a graceful sweeping gesture with her hands, palms up, with an elegant bow of the head. Herendil, followed suit, a bit more rigid as he bowed a bit more than she but kept his hands together; right fist in his left palm. He hoped it was correct, not that the foreigners would notice or care, but because he had been instructed by Encaitar. Herendil was told that the family and heirs of reigning monarchs are considered his equals as were non-anointed heads of state, thus, his bow must be that of respect; too low and it would showcase submission, too little would be arrogant and domineering. He kept his gaze up and did not allow his eyes to fall from their hosts. This, perhaps, was the most important aspect of the bow; he not only declared his respect, but also gave it. These little nuances of Arda Tuluvan custom and culture were, as he thought at times, a little ridiculous and convoluted. Though, he wanted very much to please Sémarë and honor the ways of his new home. “Your Highnesses. Your Majesty. Your Excellencies.” The Viceriene said to each of the assembled representatives before anyone else, “It is a great pleasure to meet your acquaintances.” A reigning monarch was her only social equal, thus, to prevent any cultural faux pas she inclined to speak first, therefore; according to Arda Tuluvan customs, the Morelander Prince and Princess, as well as the Veniasufian Empress consort would then be allowed to speak to her thereafter. The Federation representatives, though. That was a convoluted matter, as they do have political standing among their own; they were not counted among anointed persons in the eyes of the Arda Tuluvans. Custom and tradition demanded that the Viceriene, as nominal head of state and a daughter of Heaven’s Chosen, would communicate with the Merchant Federation dignitaries through the use of her ómari. However, now such was an age of change and adaptation, the Viceriene - not wishing to cause offense either - dictated to Ehtelë that she would not need his service while speaking with foreign representatives during their stay in United Moreland. A fact, that he found incredibly degrading to her noble and serene person. |

Sakuma Wattan was the sister of the Prince Shogun, Nakasone Wattan. Which were huge shoes to fill, in her eyes at least. When her brother was dealing with the implications of political recourse in Tsukihon, she was out, being his charm toy. In a way she was a secretive diplomat of sorts, always inserted into situations for her pleasing attitude and social prowess. Though it was no secret that she also rather lazy and belligerent, if not a bit melodramatic sometimes. The indication of her personality became clear to her parents when she was just a girl, she was a royal yes, but the royal of the Prince shogun, her father and now, her brother. Sakuma had an eye for all things extravagant and expensive, which she could always afford ofcourse with families' immense capital. It was something that drove Nakasone mad, more so than her flaunting around Yume Palace complaining about how 'bored' she was while abusing the house servant's. It's why he said to her, "How about you go to United Moreland sister? To get out, go shopping... attend a coronation?" Ofcourse, she had jumped in excitement, giving her brother a robust hug, at least as much of one as her petite stature could muster in such a burst. So here she was in Moreland, a country completely foreign to her other than a bit of the language, which she spoke with a heavy, broken accent. What she didn't expect was the nation to be so modern akin to Tsukihon, it was only natural for her, like all Tsukihonese, to hold such ill-advised and faded superstitions about a people. So as Royal Yume Three touched down, followed by it's tow decoys, the curiousness to discover a land filled Sakuma with excitement. It was only natural for her she assumed, their great ancestors were explorers and therefore discovered many riches across the land. "Not bad." Sugai Nissho, her boyfriend, Lord Nissho commented. "Nice airport, this is good." Sakuma sighed, Lord Nissho had a common obsession with airports and airliners, his family after all did own the biggest and profitable one in Tsukihon, they had also designed the Royal Yume Three. "Don't go thinking about investment's yet." she advised. "I Haven't wrecked the bar and opportunity, I don't want to be the reason you couldn't tie up a deal." she chuckled. "Plus, we're not here on 'business business', we're here on let's say, business." Asa Atsuko, was Sakuma's personal Samurai, she had been loyal to her since Sakuma was 15 and cherished the opportunity of watching her flourish into a young lady. Secretly, she was an adviser to Sakuma as well, she can't count how many times disaster or bad choice have been avoided with her guidance, knowingly and unknowingly. She stepped out the plan first, with Sakuma following behind, surrounded by several Samurai dressed in their modern haori, they had their clan insignia on their backs. Sakuma joined in as the other delegations arrived, extending a courteous bow for show to all the others. |
