 *Vice Doge for Trade, Elena Djine, just after having finished her journey in the Republic of Uniformitarian was within in the way back to Vinitsia City aboard her plane. She was tired, as the jet lag was terrible, and food was good, she maybe had eaten a bit too much... But whatever, she could hopefully have a small break while back at the country... Well, that's what she though until receiving a call.* *A secretary took the ringing phone, answered, walk towards the Vice Doge, she've seen that as big as a house, she would have a new diplomatic mission... “Your Excellence, it is the Protector's Office, informing that we have a new destination.” say the secretary to the Vice Doge, Elena fall back in her seat exhausted, she said “Right, okay, say to the pilot to change the course. Just, ask which nation is it ?”, “Veniasufia your Excellence” answered the Secretary. “Well, that's pretty far away, but I can't be more jet lag than that I guess. Please call the team, we'll prepare our entrevue.”.* *During the entire flight Elena learn culture of Veniasufian and geopolitical concerns within the region, which were uncommonly pretty low. She also learn the interests the Merchant Federation could find in this region of the world, a new boum, an expanding trade with no communist threat, the paradise for the Order of Commerce.* *Elena 40 minutes before landing took a shower and a new outfit, that wouldn't have been appropriate if she was like when she left Uniformitarian. She was finally ready, and for the landing went back to her seat. She haven't sleep since a while, but she could handle it, as it wasn't her first time, in fact she was very used to diplomatic meetings, even if getting always the fear of making a diplomatic faux pas... The plane landed gently and the main door open, a very sunny sun that blind her. The red carpet had been rolled out at Gottenhaffen International Airport and the Emperor and Empress had dressed there best to meet with the Merchant Federations representatives. The National Imperial Band had been summoned to play the anthems of both great nations. The door opened and Vice Doge for Trade Elena Djine and her group stepped out, at the bottom of the stairway the Emperor and Empress waited, the Empress held some violets for the Vice-Doge as a token of the nations gratitude and hope for a strong relations. As the Vice-Doge reached the bottom of the staircase the Emperor bowed and said "Hello Ms. Djine, it is an honour to meet you", The Empress smiled and said "I hope for the best of relations between our two nations, Ms. Djine". |

*Elena continue her way followed by representatives of many corporations. Listening both anthems within silence, and finally approach Her Majesties, inclining to each of them and shaking hands. She accepted with honour the violets offered by the Empress.*
*Well, meeting an Imperial Couple, “that was done !” she though, as it was a pretty impressive demonstration of force and culture, with the National Imperial Band and the Imperial Couple, just like that, disposed perfectly to welcome her, she didn't knew what to think. Even if she was “only” a Vice Doge, she still had a great impact on the MF policies, so maybe after all it was normal she though. Elena was glad to be present, always to represent the MF, even if a little tired as the jet lag wasn't in her favour.* Long live the Merchant Federation, May God be with you, - Protector of the Merchant Federation's Office |

"Well, now that that's wrapped up let's head to the palace where we will meet up with Mr. Kingsmith the Secretary to the Treasury". The Emperor lead the Vice Doge and her delegation of corporate representatives to a black Limo and opened the door "This car has been provided for the corporate representatives", he then walked over to a White Sedan "This will be where you, my wife and I shall ride, the corporate representatives will be entertained in the dining room at the palace whilst the government meetings take place but, we will begin our talks upon arrival, after we've had a drink of tea or coffee first, of course". They went to cars and set off to the palace.

*Elena was within the car with both Majesties, and she only was impressed by the escort and how things were. She was smiling, and tried to engage the conversation*
*She said that while being interested, and trying to discover their Majesties passion, as most Monarchs were passionate to build, she ask. After all, what could it be, an opéra ? An integrated church ? Who knows ? "Well, I don't really have any plans since we tend to just stick to the Imperial Apartment however, the structure does require extensive work to maintain it's current state, perhaps you should ask my wife about any plans though" he said smiling, the Empress Consort then said "Well, I plan on having the formal dining room redecorated the apartment will need painting and other such things and I was hoping that we would be able to reopen the art gallery within the palace, we had to shut it several years ago due to it being unprofitable and due to damage done to the building but now that the economic situation has perked up and the money is available I believe that reopening would be great", "Maybe this time with a cafe too" she added giggling a little. |

*As a Merchant Republic and a Merchant Federation, even if it was technically a Republic, it posses a lot of elective monarchistic features. "Yes, Monarchies are elegant but sometimes they isolate the people and that is why I like to do these sort of things to bring the people back into the fabric of the monarchy, as for your mentioning of the Cultural Exchange Treaty it isn't something I know very much on and haven't really cared to do so as of yet but I will look it up, anyway Ms. Djine, shall we get to our little rendezvous with the Vice-Chancellor(of the Imperial Council*)" she said before leading the way to the room. *Prime Minister but I wanted to say the long name

*Elena smiled, the real part shall starts ! Business shall be discuss, and treaties negotiated, she was still hoping some informatives talks and exchange diplomatic and conventions before starting, but nothing is better than franc-talks and getting directly to the point.*

The Emperor and Empress led Elena Djine down a hallway to a door which they then pushed open to a large room, on the far end there was a fireplace with a large portrait over it and in the far corner was a small table with four chairs, one was occupied by the Vice-Chancellor and the other four were empty for the Emperor, Empress and Ms. Djine to sit in, next to the table was a trolley with a variety of snacks and drinks to ensure the meeting was as comfortable as possible. As they walked over the Vice-Chancellor stood up and said "Ah Ms.Djine, lovely to meet you", he extended his hand but not much later two women dressed in the outfits of a servant came in and asked the four if they would like some tea or coffee. |
