The Yoshimo Shogunate to Introduce New Foreign Policy
Shogun Shimada Yoshimo, has announced that his Shogunate with the appointment of new Foreign Affairs Minister Soma Kiyumi, will enact a newly formed foreign policy which will see the pursuit of the establishment of an Embassy Exchange in the capital and to form bonds with the outside world. This goes against the era of isolation after aggressive foreign modernization efforts, however Shimada Yoshimo proclaims "We are well beyond the point at which any foreign power can be a decisive threat to the Tsukihon homeland." also touting the strength of Tsukihon now and self-dependency in arms manufacturing. "We have grown to protect ourselves from the devilish, unwanted outside that use to lust for the land of Tsukihon to capitalize on it. We do not have that anymore, we can be seen a force on the world stage, a moderate one."

This comes after the national debt breaches 42.4 Trillion Yen, with the treasury deficit surpassing former norms with the climax of funding the military and national system of welfare and education. The Yoshimo Shogunate hopes to greatly expand economic opportunity by getting in touch with other nations to officially open the Tsukihon Free Market to the rest of the world. This includes bringing in foreign investement, as after intense militaristic development, Tsukihon is becoming increasingly dependent for common goods, a dependency Shimada Yoshimo talked about and hoped, "The engineering and business sense of the Tsukihonese people will enable us to adapt and pursue greater business capitalization in other areas."
