BACKGROUND
The first mention of the area known as Lydingsforf was in 700 AD at that time Lydingsford was made up of many smaller Kingdoms such as Calidia, Corcidia and Myrenna. These three Kingdoms were united under the Myrennian Monarchy around the year 1170 AD but this didn't last long and by 1200 AD the three Kingdoms were separate once again. in 1527 Lord Peter Asquith proposed to the Myrennian court an invasion strategy for the other kingdoms. First came Calidia a weak nation with low morale. using rebels and the Myrennian army he manged to defeat the Kingdom of Calidia annexing it as part of Myrenna but the challenge came with Corcidia which was a challenger to Myrennian power. Although many failed invasions took place the two didn't unite until 1653 when Queen Clarissa signed the Act of Lydingsford bringing bringing the current KIngdom into existence. It has more or less existed in it's current form since then.

Rysenforth

Rysenforth is the capital of Lydingsford and the largest city on the Lydian Isles. It is home to over 2.3 million people and is the base of Lydingsford's economy. It is split into two districts Metro Rysenforth and Regius Capitolium. Metro Rysenforth is where most of people live with over 2.2 million of them living here, Metro Rysenforth was founded in the late 1800s following the rapid industrialisation of the nation the government in an effort to preserve the historical significance of Rysenforth forced a strict quarantine in the area surrounding the Royal Palace and deported over 1 million blue collar workers to the new are known originally a Taf's end and later as Metro Rysenforth. Regius Capitolium was always the name of Rysenforth but when the poor and rich were divided the name was known for the area where rich industrialists lived among the royalty, it is home to the Palace of Chardenys where the Royal Family lives it's also where you can find the Imperial Crypt of House Vegretto although the crypt is strictly forbidden from access by the public.
