A collection of Radio broadcasts 03/06/2018 - Noremacia Radio Corporation (NRC) "We are receiving reports that the emperor has been rushed to hospital after a heart attack... Yes we can confirm, Camus Moran is being transported in secret to an undisclosed location to be put under intensive care" 05/06/2018 - Noremacia Radio Corporation (NRC) "Emperor Camus II's (EC2) conditions worsens and the international media is starting to take interest in this. Our most recent reports have the emperor on heavy doses of medicine, He appears calm and content in what may be his final few days. Around the empire, the people are holding out hope for the greatest Emperor to ever rule over Noremacia. His feats include but aren't limited to: bringing the empires economy to the forefront of the world, promoting peace and equality, massively reducing our impact on the environment, and finally putting Noremacia on the Audaxian map. He fought hard for recognition over the last year and finally only just last week we secured our place in the region and in the world." 07/06/2018 - Noremacia Radio Corporation (NRC) "10:42am, 7th of June, 2018. Emperor Camus II of house Moran died a peaceful and content death. His 65 year reign has come to an end. The public are deeply pained by the loss of such a great man. Around the nation people are stopping everything to gather on the streets and pray. Given the nations stance on religion this is a huge gesture of gratitude and sorrow for the Emperor. He was truly loved by all. He will be known henceforth as 'Camus and Great'. Some folloers are saying he got up as he died and rose up to the heavens. others say he just vanished and became one with nature. Im no religious man, but by god we thank you for this man." 08/06/2018 - Noremacia Radio Corporation (NRC) "Over the weekend a state funeral will be held for beloved Emperor Camus II who died of natural causes at the age of 87. He will long be remembered for his respect of nature, science and peace. As the Empire mourns this tragic loss, the question arrises, who will be his sucessor? After relinquishing his position as heir to the empire, the original heir and Camus' oldest son, Gaben Moran, became an emmisary to United Moreland. This leads the current position open, for the first time in Noremacian history. Claimants include sister, Hiro Tachicana, younger son, Kumori Moran, and younger twin daughters, Suzume and Tatsu. According to Noremacian law, they must be chosen within the family and within 48 hours of the cremation of the previous emperor. Time is ticking for the Moran family." In the Royal Palace 08/06/2018 Empress Odesza took the letter in her trembling hands. She struggled to keep her sorrow at bay in front of her advisors. She had temporary rule over the empire. She didnt have much to do yet it felt like everything in the world was pushing her to the floor without her husband around. She signed the piece paper and gave it back to Piro Aymas, head of administration and state affairs, hand of the emperor. Also there was vice emperor, Orion Berat, and Faraday Tien, minister of Science and technology, and close friend to the empress. Faraday took Odesza's hand and looked here in the eyes. "It's okay to not be okay. We can wait as long as you need my lady." The empress took a second to answer. Feeling the support of her friends and advisors, "No." she replied. "We must continue to keep the balance and peace in the nation. Piro, you are in full responsibility of the funeral. spare no expense." "Of course my lady." he replied, exiting the room. She looked out the window at the clear and stary night, thousands of people stopping in front of the palace gates to leave gifts and pay homage. She fearsed for the future. None of the heirs looked promising... Hiro Tachicana: Sister of the Camus, verging on insane, recluse Kumori Moran: Son of Camus and Odesza, shady, sly and cunning, always seems to get his way Suzume Moran: Daughter of Camus and Odesza, young, shy, innocent and inexperienced Tatsu Moran: Daughter of Camus and Odesza, young, shy, trained in the way of the elite samurai She sighed deeply. In the end she didn't have much say in the matter, it was a case of whoever stepped up and whoever opposed them. She looked back at Orion and Faraday. "Someone dictate this for me". Orion took out his touchpad and eyed the empress. What was said has since been turned into this letter:  OOC: IMPORTANT: Urging geographically close nations to respond to this as i need to get to know you guys better ASAP

Kins'Fall, Maddomainia 06:32 After Constantine was finished shuffling through all of his paperwork for the funding of the containment of the chemical attack on the Maddoman capital city of Maddoma, someone began knocking on his door. "Allow him to enter," Constantine stated to one of his guards. The guard nodded and open the door and the Minister of Foreign Affairs entered and reported to Constantine. "Sir, the Noremacians have invited us to an event to pay respects to the new head of state of Noremacia." The Minister stated. "Why does the Empire need to pay another nation respects? We have enough on our hands already." Constantine replied. "Sir, I understand that to the common Maddoman, there is no reason for anyone from Maddomainia to pay any respects to any foreign government, but Maddomainia does not have any relations with Noremacia and this could be a golden opportunity to get to know them better and hopefully gain another loyal ally." "When is it supposed to take place then?" Constantine questioned. "Those who are arriving shall have a few days to prepare for the travel." "Very well, dispatch a letter to the new Noremacian government that I will be paying respects to their new head of state." "Yes, Sir." The Minister nodded and walked out the door, having the door shut by the guards as he left.

As a sign of respect to the fallen Noremacian emperor, Lord Winterborn, hand of the King has elected to attend the funeral himself. He shall arrive unguarded but requests he is allowed to carry his ancestral sword at his side for protection. |

 To Empress Odesza On behalf of the Teutonic Union and its people I wish to send my condolences to yourself and your people. It is a shame to me that it has taken a tragic death to bring about a visit to our neighbours to the East. I will be attending the funeral in person along with two of the royals who rule Principalities within our Empire, Princess Camilla Kristensen of Mora and Prince Mikhail Ivanov of Kedrovy. It is also my hope that as a result of this meeting we can ensure that future contact between our two nations does not require such a sad situation to bring it about. My condolences Emperor Hans of The Teutonic Union, Prince of Thale , Duke of Ruddesheim. |

Her highness, Empress Odesza lay awake as the sun rose well into the afternoon. She wanted to appear okay but inside she was crushed. Someone knocked on the door. “Enter.” Odesza said with a sigh as she summed up a smile to face the door. Orion Berat, Minister for trade and international affairs, stepped into the room and bowed. “We have received some replies to the funeral invitations your majesty. Leaders and representitaves from the Maddoman Empire, Five Great Kingdoms, Teutonic Union and Cisleithania have accepted our invitation.” Her highness smiled at the speed of their reply. “We shall send our to be guests another letter. Write what you will.” Orion gave a bow and left the room. Her highness got up and left the room for the first time since her husbands death.

OOC - I'd assume so yes, I'd also be careful about tying a RP to real life time as people may struggle to get writing to a timetable etc and you miss the chance for some good story lines. |
