Posts: 303 Group: Citizens Member #2 Joined: Jan 21, 2016 Nation: Vinitsia	“Pace Vinitsia” At the invitation of the King Eldarion I, a Vinitsian Diplomatic Delegation with the Vice Doge for Trade, have arrived via plane to Minas Tirith in Gondor, descending from the plane, the future Vinitsian Ambassador in Gondor, was making a step toward a future partner in trade and in diplomacy Vice Doge for Trade Elena Djine - Ladies and Gentlemen the delegates, no faux pas. Remember the goal is to establish diplomatic ties, potentially embassies in both Nations, and that we are both interested into a Trade Treaty for opening their economy to the world. Greetings, it is an honor to be there, and I come here in hope to start a great friendship, I hope. When they were spotted, the Royal Guard, donning their traditional uniforms with metals, ribbons, and their insignia, gave a salute. "PRESENT ARMS!" They shouldered their combat rifles at the command, and finished the pageantry. The King stepped forward to greet the foreign officials, putting on his best smile. "Welcome, my Vinitsian friends, to Gondor! You are the first foreign delegation to visit my nation in the modern age, and it is my honor to have you. I look forward to discussing terms of diplomatic relations and a trade Treaty with you, Vice Doge for Trade Elena. Come, we must go to the palace. My convoy will take you there in our limousines." The Limos took off toward the palace, and the talks were soon to begin.

Finally arriving, the door open, the Vice Doge get out of the car, and smile to her hosts Vice Doge for Trade Elena Djine - Thank you your Majesty. Magnificent place you get, certainly charged of history and anecdotes ? Maybe would you Highness give me a little bit of the actual situation of your Nation ? I would be delighted to get more informations in order to see how your Highness wish to place the Kingship on international chess, if your Highness allow it. As we are very concerns about your summit with Los Vatican, which is directly threatening an ally, sorry to declare that your Highness, but we really would like to consider you as a friend Nation, that is why I would like further clarifications if possible. In order to give you the taste of a Trade Treaty, here is the one signed with the United Moreland, and here, with Avhali. He took his first sip as the Vice Doge began to speak and inquire about Gondor's dealings with Los Vatican and brought up the topic of trade. He was surprised that she would begin a State visit in such a fashion, but he did not think her to be rude at all. She had valid concerns, and he would reassure her with tact. He cleared his throat and began to speak. "Would you like anything to eat or drink? Our chefs are some of the finest in the world, and we have a very diverse selection of cuisines. Thank you for complimenting the Palace. It has stood here since the 1630s when this city was constructed at the founding of this great nation. This place is filled with nearly 400 years of history and culture, as my ancestors have ruled here since my direct ancestor King Halabar founded this nation when he conquered the tribes of Burnzibar. This city, Minas Tirith, is the city of Kings. It is a fortress city with walls and towers all around for protection and security. This city is the jewel of Gondor, although it isn't the largest. Since you asked, Gondor is a prosperous nation, even now. Our people have good jobs, the economy thrives, and every man has the freedom to do as he would. We have remained isolated for decades, but now we have the opportunity to be truly great as we extend our arms out to the world. As to our dealings with Los Vatican, they are our closest neighbor and they recently offered us an alliance. We see this as a great opportunity to ensure that our nation remains safe from harm and out of the influence of the major Western Powers that be. I realize that the Khanate has threatened Japao, and something is to be said for the loss of life on both sides. Our dealings with the Khanate are strictly between our two nations, and I assure you that it has nothing to do with Japao. I sympathize with both sides, but we will not get involved with affairs that are not our own. The King paused briefly to look at the copies of the trade treaties he'd been given, skimming over the terms of the documents. He liked what he saw, and smirked when he was done reading. "Yes, I like this Treaty! I do believe that we can negotiate a Treaty very similar to these, and it will not take long, as I am not a man to dawdle. Sorry for such talk, but we were surprised and we naturally question ourselves about how our futures relations needs to be. Know that the Merchant Republic, like you, enjoy fine wine and food, so for sure we already agree on something. It is an impressive fortress, interesting engineering for 1630 you said ? What is sure, is that no enemy could potentially pass the first door. We are glad that you will take no positions in the actual crisis, the negotiations are pretty hard, we don't even know if they really begin. I am certain it is interns issues, but does that alliance concern military purpose ? Sure, never we would attack Los Vatican, but it is still a question. I know it is far from what the purpose of the visit was, and not very diplomatic or even polite.. But it is for more understanding the position you are in. Even if I am sure that a Trade Treaty is perfectly acceptable with your great Nation, as we probably share the same values. Concerning it, the Trade Treaty your Highness, so no amendments to it, no changes ? Everything already befits to your Highness ? A delegate, receiving a message, approach the table and the Vice Doge, and talk to her at her ear Vice Doge for Trade Elena Djine - Well, that's an example, we completely understand the fact that you are a neutral Nation, and wants to remain it in the Japao Crisis, and you are perfectly right, it is the right decision for your people. But, we informed me that voted against the vote of Condamnation of Los Vatican actions, that you can't hide, are horrific. We agree on your neutrality, and to entirely respect it, and even say nothing about your diplomatic ties with Los Vatican, but I am deeply sorry your Highness, by making actions against us, that intervene in the Japao Crisis, and so you would understand that I personally no longer understand your position your Highness. Once more, I am sorry to brought that subject on the table, it wasn't the purpose of my visit, and I am sorry about that, but I do need to know with who we would trade your Highness. King Eldarion seemed to tense up, but kept his composure. He wasn't going to lie about anything, and he knew that he was justified in his actions. He went over to the throne, sat down, and had a servant bring him a glass of water. He then took a deep breath and cleared his throat before responding. "As far as the trade Treaty goes, no amendments will be needed. The nature of our alliance with Los Vatican may include a mutual defense Pact, which means that if they are attacked we will come to their aid and vice versa. But I can assure you that when they attack other nations that we will not get involved. The only time that I could forsee us getting involved offensively is the day that the West decides that it wants the East under its thumb. You have my word that I will not attack your ally." The King got up and paced back and forth. He wanted to explain the reasoning behind his voting, and yet not anger them. He simply told them why with no beating around the bush. "I have a very good reason for voting the way I have. May I say that while I admire the creation of the UCA and its want to protect national sovereignty, the Khanate has been made out to be entirely evil by this proposal. Firstly, the Condemnation of Los Vatican isn't about the Japao Crisis, but the Sarmatian conflict. Sarmatia is an area that was already owned by the Divine Khanate, and its king refused to pay tribute to the Khan, angering him but not pushing him to war. What brought things to war was the fact the the Sarmatian King attempted to assassinate Goyuk Khan by planting a bomb in a theater, a terrorist attack if you will. It was then by force that the Khanate military crushed the terrorists and restored order to the area. I will not condemn Los Vatican for keeping their Empire intact." Eldarion then got a little more pointed and powerful in the way he spoke, passionate but not angry. "I also see the blantant hypocrisy of the West at work here. In your hemisphere the Maddoman Empire conquers and kills and forces other nations under its control, and yet I have seen no Condemnation towards them. I see no Condemnation for the three Salonian Wars, or what they've done to your own economy. With every expansion that they make, everyone turns a blind eye. I see little comparison with a nation that simply keeps order in its provinces to another that conquers other nations entirely and weakens others economically. I hope you know that I don't understand your position on that. May I also mention that the Khanate IS in negotiations with Japao and they seek a peaceful solution to this crisis? And yet you lot would have me condemn them, you who don't pull the log of of your own eye before looking at the speck of sawdust in ours. Now that's what I call horrific." With that, the monarch seemed more at ease and spoke with more grace. He didn't want to drive them away, but he had to get his point across. "With that all said, I am still happy to negotiate that Trade Treaty with you and establish embassies. Is there anything else you wish to ask me?"

Concerning Japao Crisis, you weren't there, you don't know what it is to see such Crisis, a growing military power that threat one of your ally, and the only thing you can do for helping them is to send 4 poor submarines, and the country in front of that, doing that, refuse to talk, that is why WE call the United Moreland, so you can insult us of every words, but not barbarians. You also weren't there when we had talks with the Maddoman Empire, not only about the embargo, but also about their expansion and unification. So please, before saying that your “Eastern World” is better and needs to fight the “Western World” that we represent, know the situation, and after we would agree about hearing your critics. But it isn't the purpose of my visit, but I am deeply sorry, I started. I am certain that the fact, that we say everything we think is positive, we clarify things, it is transparent, and we all know the intentions of the other. I've just received the Treaty your Highness, in hope that even if our discussions about diplomacy are hard, business will re-unite us. Trade Treaty with The Kingship of Gondor, edition of 2016/02/28 Prelude : This Trade Treaty consist of the only Kingship of Gondor and The Merchant Republic of Vinitsia. It is question of no other entities in this Trade Treaty. The goal of this Trade Treaty is to protect the existing Diplomatic Ties between both Nations and to improve them by ensuring economical prosperity for both Nations. Article I : By this Treaty, both Nations, agree to suppress all types of taxes to entering goods as long as they comply with the locals laws and apply to the legislations of the host Nation. Article II : The installations of a company will directly pay 25% of its taxes to the host Nation of the company’s installation. The 75% remaining will be paid in the host Nation of the Social Siege of the company. Article III : For installations of a company, the company agree to recruit locally its workforce in heigh of 80%. Article IV : Any company establishing itself shall be subject to every year an inspection to ensure compliance with local financial, health and safety and employment laws. Following the one year probation period they must be afforded the same treatment as local companies. Article V : Companies from one country who have been based in the host country for a minimum of five years shall be given the same consideration for government funded projects as those originally from the host nation, with the provision that for projects deemed to be of national security importance the host country branch of the company must be owned by at least 50% by host country shareholders. Article VI : Employees of a company from the other nation shall be given fast track visa's for the purpose of visiting the host Nation of that company. A nation may refuse to grant a visa for security reasons. Article VII : Each nation shall appoint a business advisor to work in the other nations country to help promote investment and trade. It all checked out to him, so he signed it. "Our discussions about diplomacy mave have been spiririted, but I believe you have brought me wisdom about the workings of diplomacy in Audax. I apologize for my bitterness, Vice Doge. We may disagree on some issues, but this Treaty will help both of our economies and bring our nations closer together. Thank you for coming to my country and showing me a taste of the rest of the world. I wish you peace and a safe journey home."
