This is an event I'm planning that's not necessarily war, in fact it will hardly involve anything was war, I just don't know where to put it. Plus Yucadia has no official military. An island by the name of Felysia has been isolated for all of history, it's natives locking themselves from the world. However, after a destructive earthquake hits Yucadia, a massive tsunami engulfs the string of Felysian Islands. With the people in need of resources as the Island's deteriorate to sustain a primitive lifestyle, Yucadia sweeps in to try and negotiate with these people who are known for charging and even killing explorers on sight.... The end goal is holding influence and Yucadian modernization of the island or islands, essentially absorbing them. This OOC thread is for discussion and expression of interest, concerns, etc. |

Where is Felysia located at? If its close by your nation, the Khanate would intercede in force with a huge occupying force and explorers/prospectors of its own. The most likely scenario would be the Khanate claiming the territory as its latest province and building a naval/air base there to further tighten its hold in the South Sea. |

I suspect several nations would show an interest, not all for military reasons. Although an RP of a massive military power coming and crushing native sounds a little short and rather predictable. |

Well, sticking within the historical context, there's no reason why the Khanate would intervene now if it hadn't before. I want to be inclusive, but avoid the redundant military conquering of territory. |

Be sure Vinitsian Navy will not allow Khanate ships near Yucadia.. Concerning the topic, we would be glad to invest into the economy and to modernize these islands, and to open these to the market. Edited by Nova, Feb 16 2016, 10:49 PM.

Correction, the Vinitsian Navy could try to keep Khanate troops near Yucadia. In fairness, the Khanate probably wouldn't bother to do anything about the situation. It's got more important matters to deal with now. |
