Edition : 2016/01/27 A New Threat ! With the fall of the Algorra State, all socialist threats over the free world would be over ? No, a new threat appear, under the name of “Haydatia”, they call for a worldwide communist revolution. The Doge himself declared to be very pre-occupied about the situation. Vice-Doge for Defense call for an international reaction, as the declarations of their leader clearly call for civil war. “The question of an embargo is at the agenda, the idea is very popular and common. The Order of Commerce heavily support this Motion.” declared the representative of the Order of Commerce. For now, all we know is that the Government refuse to establish Diplomatic Relation with the rebels and to continue to support the local Government still fighting rebels. Anti-pirate patrol near Haydatia will continue ensure the Vice-Doge for Defense. Empire Strikes Back ! Vice-Doge for Trade, and for Foreign Affairs, both went to the Maddoma in order to develop Diplomatic Relations between our Nations. The Vice-Doge for Defense announced the deployment of 4 more submarines in our base in Ignatz in order to reinforce cooperation and mutual defense said the Vice-Doge. Remembering to us that Ignatz and Vinitsia have a defensive pact which include “In the event of war, both parties agree to full support of each other militarily, diplomatically and economically.”. Rumors about deployment of other forces have been heard into the political class, as the communists rebels in Haydatia are becoming more and more powerful militarily. Less then a minute ? Some months ago, we all were impress by the showing of the new Minutos missile. This missile is destined to replace old sea to air and sea to sea missiles from the after 1990, to be polyvalent and to do better then its predecessors. 2 submarines, at the east of Vlaskovic, are in drill in order to see the performances of the new missile. These are supervised by a Signal Intelligence Ship participating to the drill. Some new stars ! Good news for Vinitsian gastronomy, we now have nearly 7 three stars restaurant, as the “Autunno” gained 1 star, becoming the 7th three stars restaurant in the country ! After rumors, United Moreland officially announced the development of a missile defense system during the Ministry of Defense Annual Review, that would be develop in cooperation with Vinitsia. The Doge himself confirmed the Morelander-Vinitsian cooperation in a Missile Defense System, the Multi Kill Vehicle Defence System (MKVDS) will begin trials shortly and is likely to be accompanied by a series of tracking stations said the news. But let's not forget that the last negotiations with the United Moreland result into the dismiss of the previous Doge and his Government. What about the Minutos ? As the missile got a new propulsion system, the Vinitsians corporations are also hoping to include this new propulsion system to the future Morelander-Vinitsian missile anti-missile, making to kill two birds with one stone. Another question comes, does the Minutos enter in competition with the Morelander-Vinitisan cooperation ? The answer is no, as the purpose of the two projects are totally different. The Minutos will have as purpose to replace old missiles and creating one missile for all the different attack task, to be an attack missile, against surface vessels, planes or even against coastal targets. While the Morelander-Vinitsian projects is a Missile Defense System. Concerning the trials with the two submarines, the Consulate for Defense announced them to be successful, and they will continue with new fictives targets and missions. Trials with planes and drones are also on the agenda for the missile, with the first trial plan to be the 10th February with an Interceptor. As the missile seems to be a success for La Flotta Del Doge, to mid-year, the first missiles will take place in the submarines, and as priority, the submarines in Ignatz will be armed with these. Official Visit The Vinitsians Delegates -from Vinitsians Consulates and Corporations- have arrived in Ignatz in order to observe new technological advancements and to conclude potentials new contracts. The current Defensive Strategy of La Legione Del Doge is a direct legacy of the Merchant Federation, anti-piracy with trade routes protection as priority, and Sea Domination. But as the Merchant Federation disappear in 1990, with the independence of the “old colonies”, followed by the end of the cold war, Vinitsian military budget have been in decline, and some Nations like The Free Land of Darze decide to renonce to their military. Vinitsians forces, even if they are technologically advanced, are small in number, and isolated, with all forces spread around the world, with only 40% of the total forces are in Metropol. With the 2016 Motion for Budget, the army have lost 7433 soldiers in its rank (47,5% of its total manpower), and seen its budget slow down by 2 Billions, just for economical questions, as the priority is to maintain low taxation rate and to attract investments in Vinitsia. But during this, the new Communist threat, near our Allies, under the name “Haydatia” have been reveal, and it is exactly the same with Los Vatican. Both this Nations are in South, and it gives good reasons for the Order of Commerce, to order the deployment of 4 submarines in Ignatz. The actual forces in the only South base Vinitsia have -which is in the strategic islands of Ignatz- are 8 fighters, 16 drones, 12 submarines and 2 nuclear submarines. In a scenario where Vinitsian interests are attack in Ignatz or Japao, our Forces would totally be out number. It became clear that Vinitsian forces are totally insufficient to do entirely their job. Three scenarios are consider by the Doge's Office, the first one consist to continue into that position, and to place all hope in diplomacy. Second one, would be a retraction of Vinitsians military forces, for encompass and securing only a quater of world seas, and lost its status of sea power, by passing to a regional power. Third one, the most costly, would be to double Vinitsians military capacities, a re-armement program that would cost 30 billions and take 4 years. For the moment these are officials scenarios, but it does not change Vinitsian Military Strategy. Other scenarios, proposed by Members of the Order and Chamber of the Commerce are also interesting in Vinitsian future. What is sure, is that as Vinitsia have only became a four islands Nations, with 5 millions population and a strong economy, never the Nation would be able to come back as a super-power. After gently propose to the Khanate diplomatic negotiations with Ignatzee and Vinitsian delegations, like all civilized Nation do, they send one ambassador to the meeting, probably because it is organise by the United Moreland. And declared that they will send submarines to our borders, just for violence. The best of the situation, is that they consider Japao Airspace as THEIR, and ask for restitution of the lose aircraft during the violation of the airspace. Most civilized people know geography, sounds like they need to. They violate, and after consider themselves as the victims. We strongly ask to the Order of Commerce to not lower its attention and to, in order to ensure the non-violation of Vinitsian and its allies airspaces and sea zone, to vote for growing credits to La Legione Del Doge, double our military ! We are not sheep my Doge, and you need to understand that.. Well, if you want to still have the majority of the people following you. Free Culture The Vice-Doge for Culture, followed by the Vice-Doge for Education, both went to negotiate the ratification of the Promoting Cultural Exchange Treaty in United Moreland. Directly received by Her Highness, Queen Alison, for once, negotiations were easy, even, proposals for extending it for cultural education purposes have been hear. As the Maddoman Empire severely sanctioned The Merchant Republic of Vinitsia -for unknown reasons-, the Vinitsian stock exchange have seen an alarm, with a degradation of 2%, mostly for riTra Transport and other major international groups, as these seen their products refused at the border. For now, the sanctions cost already 2,2 billions for only some hours. The stock exchange have been re-know with trust due to a quick negotiation with The Constituted Republic of Avhali for expanding trade between our Nations. The news concerning the Free Trade Morheim zone also participate greatly to the stabilization of the situation, opening a new market. For the moment, the Doge's Office have not commented the situation. Our economists estimated that the cost of these sanctions will be worst for Maddomania, as for the moment, Maddoman productions and organizations are still allow in Vinitsia and does not suffer sanctions. Negotiations can begin ! Vinitsian Delegation for peace have arrived on HMS Sharpe from the Morelander Royal Navy, for negotiating a peaceful issue concerning the Japao Crisis. Edition : 2016/02/27 Re-friends by fear ? 2016 start well for the new Doge Augusto Tyre, elected in November 2015, the new Doge only put points, by the resolution of tensions with the Maddoman Empire, ensuring trade relations by paying them, but in fact, does he not show our weakness ? By admitting to pay for free taxes, does the Merchant Republic do not show how powerless it is against the will of great powers ? The question have been brought to the Order of Commerce, and immediately it join the question of the Army. Most great power have a strong army, and can force and put pressure on Nations by this, which was probably the case for the Government during the crisis. La Legione Del Doge is only composed of 8,192 soldiers, and a resolution has already be introduce in order to double it by end of 2016, in all cases, that is the lesson that we have take from that crisis. It is a success ! The Cultural Exchange Treaty Organization negotiations have been a success ! The Treaty have been ratified by the Merchant Republic, but not only, The Kingdom of United Moreland, The Queendom of Morheim, The Federation of Greater Yucadia, The Empire of the Teutonic Union and finally our ally, The Principality of Ignatz. It is a great success, and the Doge himself congratulate the Vice Doge for Culture and Queen Alison of United Moreland for the achievement. Stock Exchange goes up too much Due to the resolution of the trade crisis with the Maddoman Empire, riTra Transport and Nessa have been accepted into Morheim Free Trade Zone, the success of the MKVDS launch in United Moreland, the new Trade Treaty with Avhali, success of the Cultural Exchange Treaty Organization, Maddoman support of the coalition in the Japao Crisis, so much events that made a boum to the Vinitsian Stock Exchange, with over 10% in a single week... This is were the economists aren't sure, this big growth, is making too much profit, and all the factors that caused it, can at any time, be against it, the best example is the Japao Crisis, negotiations are engaged, and the impact, the fear that it might cause on the Stock Exchange might make it fall from high. Edition : 2016/02/29 We will no longer be weaker With one of the most small armed forces since 1990, with the dissolution of the Merchant Federation, its legacy, mainly the Merchant Republic of Vinitsia take the path to peace, and place all its hopes in diplomacy. During these last 26 years, each years, La Legione Del Doge was stripped a little bit more, even in 2015 with a huge modernization and automatization... But also with 52% less effectives. With 8,192 soldiers for 5 millions people plus 3 millions residents, the Merchant Republic is one of the least militarized Nation in the world. With the Maddoman Embargo Crisis, and the Japao Crisis which is far from being solved, Motion of Defense Structuration have been deposed by the Republicans at the Order of Commerce, in order to take immediate action for the “re-armement” of the Merchant Republic. The Doge Ausgusto Tyre, strongly supporting the Motion, invited the Members of the Order of Commerce at the Doge's Palace in order to an exceptional vote in the old Parliamentary Vice Doge Families in the Palace. Motion have been accept with 18 Members for, 1 Member neutral, 1 Member against. It is to say how serious the situation is, mostly after the direct threat from the Los Vatican to send submarines to our borders. Vinitsians citizens do not really follow the movement with about only 37% for the Motion. This Motion ask for the changement of the Legione budget, from 8 billions that will be allowed for 2016, to 20 billions ! Edition : 2016/03/03 Keep the sky clean  Our 8 fighters based in Japao in order to ensure sky police, and to secure air space from Los Vatican planes, continue their missions. The 8 fighters will be joined by 4 more, putting the total number to 12 planes. Vice Doge for Defense, estimated that with the violation of agreement with Gondor, but getting out of its neutrality in the conflict, these were necessary. The deployment of 8 drones is also on the agenda. There is a total of 64 soldiers in Japao, for securing military installations. These will be joined by 64 more in order to also make patrol in coastlines. Concerning La Flotta, no other deployments are in the agenda. Vinitsian delegates consider some points of the report as false, and call for the Doge's Office to refuse it.  The Doge, Augusto Tyre do not answer to this event. Some rumors coming from the Doge's Office are stating that the Government will continue diplomatic negotiations based on these. The Vice Doge for Foreign Affairs actually on HMS Sharpe, stated that : “Maybe the accident is the fault of both parties. But what is sure, is that threats against the Kingdom of Japao and the Merchant Republic are real, and we will continue further to get official excuses from the Khanate as the same as an official treaty proclaiming the entire sovereignty of Japao and its total recognition by the Khanate. We thanks once more the United Moreland Government and Royal Family for its support in the resolution of the Crisis.”. Missile Away !  The MKV Carrier Vehicle have once more be successful in its tests in United Moreland. This missile, develop in cooperation with the Merchant Republic and the Kingdom of United Moreland have as purpose to protect its users from all missiles attack. Following the successful tests in Morton test site, the Vice Doge for Defense, Sabrina Guerje, present for the occasion stated : “We are glad of the Morelander-Vinitsian cooperation in step of defense. The missile is getting more and more close to be ready, we are hoping to be able to launch industrial production of it in order to be used by La Legione as quick as possible. 2016 will be an heavy year for us, as this coincide with the entry into service of the multi-role missile Minutos.”. Investments in South fall  Following Japao Crisis, the growing of revenue inequality, and the growth of Defense budget, the Principality of Ignatz, the Ignatz DOW Janz-Financial is knowing some troubles, in fact, in opposite of 50G which seen its investments being greatly diversed, the Ignatz stock exchange is strongly linked with Japao, which with recent events, seen its investments crazily going down. Followed by the recent manifestations due to income equality, and the lack of budget for education, the Merchant Republic become more and more concerns about the economical situation, as it is one of our major partner. The Order of Commerce is watching for administratives facilitations in order to increase investments in Japao and Ignatz. The talks concerning the subvention of a total of 400 millions Ducats in order to open a few educational facilities in Ignatz have been hear into the corridors of the Chamber. Concerning the losses, these are estimated to 1,6 billions in Japao for Vinitsian 50G, forcing the Government to take actions against the Khanate, and 50G to invest into new Markets, like Morheim, DEN, Avhali, Maddomania, Teutonic Union and even the safe United Moreland. A Motion of Embargo will be voted in the Order of Commerce if the negotiations goes wrong on HMS Sharpe. It fails  The Doge's Office is heavily considering to stop its participation into the United Collectivium Assembly, as its Motions in order to reform the organization do not seen any support, and as no Nations join the ideal of such organization. If its withdraw, it is more probable that the Government will have to dismiss from its functions only 5 months after its establishment, as it would be hard, and the public opinion is against it, considering it as an tool to control the Merchant Republic. A bad idea The Motion of Defense Structuration, even if passing in the Order of Commerce, still have to face the Chamber of Commerce and the Vinitsian people, which are greatly against it. Education and Healthcare are totally free, and with such changement to budget, with the National Debt of 92 Billions, fear about big changements is real. A simple citizen manifesting in front of the Doge's Palace : “We are watching what is happening in Ignatz, we don't want such issues. Our economy is good, diverse, we need to continue like we did. Military for defending the Nation, yes, Military for being all around the World defending our interests, the idea is good, but too costly, it will have a giant impact to us,  Manifestations are going peacefully, and no aggressions have been for the moment made.
