![]() Thousands rush out to buy gifts as Christmas nears ![]() This week has been the busiest for buying Christmas gifts so far this holiday season. Toys are rushing off the shelves faster than they can be made as thousands of frustrated parents try to find the toy their child wants. But as we reflect on this happy holiday many have been discussing the slowing birth rate. They have said that within a few years their will be so few children that gift buying will drop to a historic low. But others have said this is just putting a dampener on the mood and have said they will be focusing on the fun of the season. This years most popular toy is the hatchimal with hundreds of thousands of units being sold this week alone. The toy is so popular that today the countries largest supermarket, Maxima, said that they expected to be sold out by the end of the day to which thousands of parents vented with frustration online. But as Christmas looms we wish to tell you all to remain calm and stay true to the holiday season. |
